Blue Line Trauma

My Story
My name is Kathy Sullivan and I am a Licensed Mental Health clinician in Colorado, with 38 years of experience treating clients in a variety of agencies, gaining the majority of my experience working in law enforcement and in the Criminal Justice System, most recently as a Parole Mental Health Clinician for The Colorado Department of Corrections. I also hold certifications in both Substance Abuse Counseling and Trauma Informed Care. I have passionately been involved assisting clients in resolving mental health and substance abuse related issues throughout my career, with a special interest in evidence based, alternative methods to trauma treatment.
Over the past 15 years, my clinical work has been invested in assisting law enforcement, veterans and first responders regarding integration of primary and secondary trauma. I began Blue Line Trauma to focus solely on caring for First Responders and Law Enforcement. I feel the resolution of trauma in each group is the key to personal and professional success and while the definition of trauma treatment is rather universal, a client’s trauma story is unique and should be treated as such.
I would be very happy to further discuss my professional history and answer your questions.
Peace,
M Kathy Sullivan LPC CAC III
